To say that this place is bigger then any of our needs is an understatement. It is certainly a million dollar home right on the water, and is decorated right out of a catalogue. The amenities are so new they still have tags on the pots & pans, user manuals to the kitchen appliances, installation circles on the glass sliding doors and windows, and stickers on the washer/dryer. Modernized to the point that we took two days to realize that the stainless steel drawer under the coffee pot was not a bread warmer, but indeed a microwave. The induction stove is certainly to be marveled at, but we love to cook so we need to figure out how to use it quickly!
The house is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with a screened in pool and a dock by the ocean inlet. Kayaks and a canoe are available for use under the deck, and a two car garage to keep the car cooler from the outdoor heat. Landscape includes a water fountain and freshly placed sod grass the day prior to our arrival (we know because the guys came to water the lawn the yesterday afternoon... and yes, so did the "pool boy" to clean the pool as well!) (For more pics, see prior post located here.)
We are certainly still in overload because this place is so much more then the advertisement on VRBO stated. Yesterday we spent the morning at a Super Target to purchase all the necessary items we could think of like toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc., as well as provisional groceries. The bill was a little bit of a sticker-shock for us, but that's the price sacrificed to hit only one store for a one-stop-shop with a toddler who gets cranky shopping. Luckily in just over an hour we got most of what we needed, and in the future we will probably be grocery shopping at the local Publix.
